Transport

Prague has the fourth best public transportation systems in Europe (after Munich, Helsinki and Vienna), which includes three metro (subway) lines, trams, buses and even a funicular. The ticket prices are very friendly. All information about transport, fares, and services is available in Czech, English, and German here. Map of tram and metro lines is attached. Unfortunately, especially in public transport, you should beware of pickpockets very carefully. They are notorious all over the world; here you can find several useful advices how to avoid your pockets to be picked.

On the other hand, lot of Prague guides recommend staying very alert when it comes to taxi drivers. There are several taxi companies operating in Prague and many of them do not have crystal reputation. Our recommendation is AAA Radiotaxi.
